100 years... for your house The company has been founded in the firsts years of 900 by some craftsman who used to work wood; unfortunately we do not have more information about the activity of that period. To find the firsts certain information about the company we have to reach the year 1941, when the current trade name has been registered. In this period they used to produce big wooden clothes pegs with a new steel spring to be used in the textile and tanning industry which was much developed in this area. During the years and with the advent of new technologies the old product have been substituted with a new line of wooden clothes pegs for domestic use. At the beginning of the Fifties the company has been bought by the families Munarini and Zuliani who gave it a new life through investments in the automation of the manufacturing process. The carpentry becomes a modern industry with machines often projected and made by ourselves. The beech logs, coming from the old Cansiglio's wood, started the production cycle and after complexes processing became clothes pegs ready to be assembled. The selection of the pieces and the assembling of the same were given to families who worked at home and who have been up to 100 during the main work period. At the end of the Sixties, even if the wooden clothes pegs were the most used, FABBRICA PINZE SCHIO, always sensible to the evolutions of the market, understood the potentiality of plastic materials and it has probably been the first Italian factory producing a new line of plastic clothes pegs. At the same time it started working with the market of GDO who were growing up and started producing the firsts private label items. The company, leaded by Munarini family after the partner's retirement, beside the production of wooden and plastic clothes pegs made other items for the order and the cleaning of the house. During these creative years we have the birth of some items which became famous such as SUPER PIERINO, LOLA, KAIMANO, etc. , till we reach the current range which is the most innovative in the area of clothes pegs. Recently a few new items have been added to the range: ZEMACLIP and BIOCLIP, the first one in polypropylene and the second one in MATER-BI, without spring and completely biodegradable. This is the first of a complete line of items with a low impact on the environment which have been studying by the company. From year 2000 burn e new product line, GARDEN DELIGHTS, which includes a range of items made by resin ideals to decorate the garden. In the same year (2000) also started the cooperation with Novamont to develop a MaterBi (raw material biodegradable & compostable which comes from cornstarch) ideal for injection moulding. We worked several years and finally, in 2005, we realized for the first time in the world a complete line of disposable cutlery made by MaterBi and biodegradable & compostable. This items are included in the line ECOZEMA which also include other items for people who are looking for an environmental friendly products.
